Clients eventually started wanting these new fangled Video-CDs which required computers (gasp!). 1" tape machines, reel-to-reel Nagra tape decks, and all of the other analog/digital cassette tape decks were within arms reach in the machine room that was my workspace. It wasn't until a bit later before I learned that it was the first version to run on Windows.
